Absztrakt

Abstract

The anthropogenic effects like mining or industrial activities are causing serious problems worldwide, one of them being the heavy metal contamination. Heavy metals are toxic by their quantity and concentration and it depends on the living organisms sensibility. The plant growth promoting (PGP) bacterias are stimulating and enhance the plants growth and development and they are protecting the plants from the abiotic stress, like heavy metals. The purpose of this research is to examine the germination and early growth of mustard plants (Sinapis alba) contaminated with different concentrations of an essential (Zn2+) and a not essential (Cd2+) heavy metal, inoculated with plant growth promoting (PGP) bacteria.

Keywords: heavy metals, PGP bacteria, mustard, germination, early growth
