Absztrakt

A bemutatott szakirodalomban megjelenő példák a székelyföldi térségre is kisebb-nagyobb mértékben érvényesek, alkalmazhatóak.

Abstract

The study presents professional materials that address the subject of community media and hyperlocal media. The reviewed works outline the main characteristics, opportunities, and challenges of community and hyperlocal media, as well as the principal features of the communities that bring them into being and sustain their operation. These types of media, along with the related scholarly literature, deserve attention in our region, since, as the compilation illustrates, community and hyperlocal media display numerous similarities with the media landscape of Szeklerland. The examples provided in the reviewed literature are to varying degrees also relevant and applicable to the Székelyföld region.
