Absztrakt

Abstract

As a result of the widespread adoption of digital devices, our daily lives have been transformed, and today it is almost unimaginable to work in many professions, receive school education, maintain relationships, access information, or spend leisure time without them. This significant change in the 21st century affects not only adults but children as well, raising new parenting questions and methods for parents. The study by Leonarda Banic and Tihomir Orehovacki examines this issue through a systematic literature review. Their aim is to examine how widespread parental mediation practices are and to gain deeper insight into parents’ views on the internet’s role in their children’s lives, its effects on their mental health and behavior, and their vulnerability to online violence and harmful content.
